On 3 September 2026, Hindustan International School ,Guindy students participated in the Vaels International Business Excellence Event (VIBE), an engaging platform that challenged their entrepreneurial and business decision-making skills.

Objectives

To provide students with opportunities to apply business and entrepreneurial concepts in practical situations.
To develop critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
To strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
To encourage innovation and adaptability through real-world challenges and simulations.
To enhance students’ financial awareness and risk-assessment abilities.
To promote confidence, collaboration and future-ready skills through experiential learning.

As part of “In Crisis,” students responded to three simulated business challenges involving a cybersecurity breach, an employee strike, and a collaborative crisis requiring teamwork among three businesses. Demonstrating critical thinking, teamwork, leadership and effective communication, the team successfully secured 1st Place, earning the title “Corporate Titans.”

The experience strengthened students’ public speaking, problem-solving, business knowledge and decision-making skills, while providing valuable exposure to real-world business situations. The initiative aligned with SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, supporting the development of confident and future-ready learners.

The VAELS Stock Exchange at VIBE 2026 provided students with a practical introduction to financial markets, investment and strategic decision-making.

Working with a simulated stock portfolio, students analysed market trends, assessed risk and responded to changing market conditions while making timely investment decisions. Through teamwork, financial analysis and adaptability, the team achieved an impressive 3rd Place in the event.

The experience enhanced their financial awareness, strategic thinking, risk assessment, communication and decision-making skills, while giving them valuable exposure to the dynamics of investing and financial markets.

The Product Development event at VIBE 2026 provided students with a practical opportunity to explore innovation, creativity and product design.

Working collaboratively, students identified real-world problems, developed innovative ideas and refined their concepts by considering functionality, usability, sustainability and practicality. The experience also required them to communicate and present their ideas effectively within a limited timeframe.

Through the event, students strengthened their creative thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, decision-making and time-management skills, while gaining valuable exposure to the process of transforming ideas into practical solutions.

The Innovators Drone event at VIBE 2026 provided students with an exciting opportunity to explore technology, innovation and problem-solving through hands-on drone-based challenges.

Students worked collaboratively to understand the challenges, develop strategies and apply their technical and creative skills to complete the tasks. The experience strengthened their teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability and technological awareness, while encouraging innovation and practical application of STEM concepts.

The Trivia event at VIBE 2026 offered students an engaging platform to test their general knowledge, quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Through a series of challenging questions, students demonstrated teamwork, confidence and the ability to think under pressure, making the experience both enriching and enjoyable.
